Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC JE exam to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Junior Engineers in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts for various Ministries/ Departments/Organisations in the Government of India. SSC JE 2025 Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- as their application fee for the SSC JE 2025 Exam. Female Candidates, Ex. Servicemen and Candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee for the SSC JE 2025 Exam. The payment of the application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI etc.
SSC JE Age Limit
For the posts for which age limit is upto 30 years- The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1995 and not later than 01-08-2007.
For the posts for which age limit is upto 32 years- The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1993 and not later than 01-08-2007.

SSC JE 2025 Selection Process
Under the SSC JE selection process candidates have to undergo the Paper 1, Paper 2, and document verification process. Paper-I & Paper-II will be held in CBT mode and consist of Objective Type, Multiple-choice questions only. The candidates will be required to attempt the General Engineering part (i.e., Part-A, Part-B or Part-C) in Paper-I and Paper-II, which has been selected by them, based on their Stream/ Subject of Educational Qualification.

How to Apply For SSC JE Recruitment 2025
Step 1: Visit the official website at ssc.gov.in and click on ‘Register Now’ in the Login section.
Step 2: Enter your Mobile Number/Email ID to receive a One Time Password (OTP).
Step 3: Provide your Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrollment Number for ID confirmation (Alternatively, other identification documents like Elector ID Card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, School/College ID Card, or Employment ID can be used).
Step 4: Provide details about the name of the Board, Roll Number, and Year of Passing the 10th standard examination.
Step 5: Upload a passport-sized color photo in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB).
Step 6: Upload a scanned signature in JPEG format (10 KB to 20 KB).
Step 7: Review all the filled details before completing the SSC JE One-Time Registration process, including essential details like Name, Date of Birth, Matriculation Exam details, additional details like Category, Nationality, identification mark, contact details, and the uploaded photograph, and signature.
Step 9: Candidates must complete all the steps of the registration process within 7 days to ensure their registration details are saved. Failure to do so will result in the permanent deletion of the saved details. Also, ensure that all provided information is accurate to avoid application rejection.
