As per the schedule, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST) is scheduled from 20th August to 11th September 2025. This year, around 25.21 lakh candidates appeared in the computer-based test, out of which only 3.9 lakh candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the Physical Test. The entire recruitment process of SSC GD 2025 will be completed in four stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and at the last the Medical Test. The candidates will be shortlisted for SSC GD Constable posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. through the following stages-
